When Simon and Athina from Esbjerg arrived at my studio in Thorstrup (Varde) with their adorable baby boy Lukas, the room instantly felt brighter. Their session was filled with warmth, laughter, and tender moments that spoke volumes about their love for each other and their new little family. Simon is such a wonderful, devoted man who has fully embraced his given role as the space holder for his wife and son, supporting and nurturing them with unwavering dedication. Seeing the love and care Simon and Athina pour into raising and nurturing Lukas was truly heartwarming.

Capturing genuine curiosity and happiness

Lukas, their lovely son, is such a special little boy. Throughout the session, he was full of curiosity, his bright eyes soaking in the new surroundings, and he graced us with the sweetest smiles. His joyful energy brought an extra layer of magic to the day, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Capturing his genuine curiosity and happiness was a delight, and it was clear that he is the center of Simon and Athina’s world.

From the moment Lukas curled up in his parents’ arms to the way Simon gently held his tiny hands and Athina softly kissed his forehead, it was clear that this little boy is surrounded by a world of love. Each photograph taken during their session captures not only Lukas’s precious newborn features but also the pure devotion and adoration his parents have for him.

One of my two favorite moments from the session was capturing Lukas nestled in Athina arms, fully relaxed and at peace. The serenity and calm of that moment are something I’ll never forget.

My second favorite moment was seeing and capturing Lukas bright smile as Athina gently touched and caresses his head with love and awe— and I’m sure it’s a memory they’ll cherish forever too.
