A newborn photo shoot with photographer Angelique Ohlinger is a wonderful way to celebrate this magical stage of your life during a parental leave holiday on the Danish west coast. My studio offers you a hygge atmosphere - your photo shoot will be relaxed, personal and unique for you. I will gently guide you into natural, flattering poses so that you can simply enjoy the moment and feel wonderfully present and very close to your baby.

The first step is to choose which of my session packages best suits you. They are all wonderful choices, you really can't go wrong! Ready to book your session?
I recommend reserving your newborn or milestone session as early as possible. You can book your session easily via the booking form at the bottom of this website or by sending an email to hej@angeliephotography.dk. After your inquiry, you'll receive an email from me to confirm a date. Once the date is set, I’ll send you a personal link with your invoice, contract, and a helpful session guide to support you in choosing outfits and preparing for your session. To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required. Once your contract is signed and the deposit is received, your session is officially reserved in my calendar — and I can't wait to create something truly meaningful with you. 🤎
Planning & Wardrobe Styling
In additional to the questionnaire, you will receive my detailed Session Guide. What you wear for your photos is extremely important to achieve my signature light and natural look. You will need to wear primarily light colored clothing if this is the look you desire. Off whites, creams, light muted aquas, and light gray-blues are all sophisticated colors that photograph beautifully. Your session guide will also include tips on how to have a smooth session, how to prepare your other children if you have any, etc. Aside from wardrobe, we will also choose your session location. NOTE: My growing customer wardrobe is available for the "Individual Session Bundles & Special Collections" only. But don’t worry — Mini Sessions include a digital wardrobe guide (PDF) to help you choose the perfect outfit that complements the soft, timeless, and light-filled aesthetic we’re aiming for in your photos.
Your Session
The big day is here! We’ll meet at our agreed location and time – most sessions take place on weekdays or weekends, typically starting about 1.5 hours before sunset to make the most of the golden light. During your session, I’ll gently guide you through a relaxed and natural flow, helping you ease into comfortable poses and authentic moments. You don’t need to worry about feeling awkward – most of my clients tell me they laughed a lot and genuinely enjoyed the experience. That’s exactly how it should feel: joyful, connected, and true to you.

Within 48 hours of your session, I’ll share a first little preview with you, so you can relive a glimpse of the magic we captured together.
Your Gallery | Online Image Gallery
Within two to three weeks of your session, you'll receive an email with a link to an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to highlight your favorite photos & choose the ones, that you would like to receive according to your booked session bundle.
Prints & Keepsakes
In your gallery, you’ll find many beautiful ways to turn your images into lasting keepsakes. From professional lab prints and elegant canvases to thoughtfully designed products – ordering is simple and seamless. For something truly special, I also offer heirloom photo books and custom-engraved linen keepsake boxes, lovingly crafted just for you.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LOCATION AND THE MOST LOVING PHOTOGRAPHER
We decided to immortalise our little family with a few pictures. Normally we never use a professional photographer. But it had to be the first time. Now that we are new parents of our second child. Angelie is such a wonderful person: With great presence and care. She has a great attitude during the photo shoot. She took all the time you need. Angelie opens her heart and tells personal stories. And we felt very welcome in her studio/home. It felt like a family visit. Because it all takes place in her home. The photo studio is magical: I thought WAOWWW when I walked into it. The most modern and best equipped photo studio in the house. The kind of space everyone dreams of. A play corner for the children. And child-friendly throughout. Large, cosy sofa that invites you to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Tea in the pot. Beautiful views. And plenty of energy. The wardrobe: The wardrobe is a really nice extra that Angelie provides to her customers free of charge. The most beautiful selection of clothes in modern, neutral colours. And we had to choose for ourselves. Because the sets all look great together. It was a real relief for me that I didn't have to unpack our entire wardrobe to find beautiful and matching clothes. So it was just a lovely thing that we could just use their special lovely wardrobe for all 4 of us. Baby friendly: It is equipped with breastfeeding friendly corners. Opportunities for privacy and a unique and beautiful nappy changing area where little princess Astrid loved to lie. And then there was the gesture of providing nappies. Just in case you forgot them. Absolutely no shortcomings. Angelie is incredibly easy to understand in English. And is good at helping all 4 of us to strike beautiful poses. This brought out the best in us. (The extra pregnancy kilos and double chin were not visible). Angelie is a talented photographer. We would like to thank her once again for the great pictures. They have immortalised our little family forever. We can highly recommend Angelie as a private photographer.

Preserving Precious Moments: A Lasting Investment in Your Family's Story
Note: I am currently working mostly in my studio and surrounding outdoor areas during my parental leave. From May 2025, all packages will include journeys within a radius of 30 kilometres from my studio in Thorstrup near Varde. In addition, there will be a surcharge of DKK 3.0 per kilometre driven. For journeys with a bridge surcharge, an individual price will be charged. Whether a session can take place in the comfort of your home instead of my studio depends on factors such as the space and lighting conditions. This will require prior consultation to ensure the best possible outcome.

Mini photo sessions offer a quick, convenient, and affordable way to capture beautiful moments in a shorter time frame. Each session lasts 30 minutes, making them perfect for families, couples, or individuals seeking professional photos without a long commitment and without the exclusivity. Priced at 849 DKK per slot*, these sessions include 3 professionally edited digital files, which you can choose from a provided online gallery. *Prices may vary depending on the ‘Special Session’.

The “Beach Sessions” Mini Photoshootings are a quick, affordable, and beautiful way to preserve your most cherished moments. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Danish West Coast, these quick maternity sessions are perfect for families or mamas-to-be who want timeless portraits filled with emotion and natural beauty. Whether at Henne Beach, Blåvand Beach, or Vejers Beach – each session is infused with golden light, soft sea breezes, and the peaceful rhythm of the ocean. In just 30 relaxed minutes, we’ll capture soulful, heartfelt images that celebrate your unique story – gentle, radiant, and full of connection. ✨ Ideal for families on a tighter budget, or those simply seeking a short & sweet way to hold on to their magic.
Please note: I often offer these Mini Sessions only on short notice and with limited bookable spots. Possible disadvantages (or tips for orientation): Less time to warm up - If you are camera-shy or need a longer warm-up phase or have several small children with you, you may feel more comfortable in longer individual sessions. Less flexibility - Location & time slots are usually predetermined (e.g. several mini sessions in a row), so less customisation is possible. Limited number of images - There is only a small selection of finalised images - for larger projects or albums, it is better to choose the individual session. If you're looking for more time, flexibility, and a tailored experience, my Individual Session Bundles or Special Collections are a wonderful alternative.
