Studio Angelie answers common questions about newborn sessions to help parents feel confident and prepared.

Welcoming a newborn is a momentous occasion, and capturing these early days through photography creates lasting memories. At Studio Angelie, I understand that parents may have questions about the process. Here are some frequently asked questions to guide you:

1. When Should I Schedule My Newborn Photography Session?

It’s advisable to book your newborn session during your pregnancy, ideally in the second trimester. This ensures availability around your due date. I note your expected date and adjust as needed once your baby arrives.

2. What Is the Ideal Age for Newborn Photos?

Newborns are best photographed between 5-14 days old. During this period, babies are sleepier and more amenable to posing, allowing us to capture those serene, curled-up images.

3. What If My Baby Is Older Than 14 Days?

While the 5-14 day window is optimal, beautiful images can still be captured after this period. Older newborns may be more alert, leading to different but equally precious photos.

4. How Do We Schedule Without a Specific Date?

We reserve a tentative slot based on your due date. Once your baby is born, we finalize the session within the first two weeks.

5. Can Family Members Participate in the Session?

Absolutely! Including parents and siblings adds depth to your newborn’s portraits. I encourage family involvement to capture these special bonds.

6. How Long Does a Newborn Session Last?

Sessions typically last 2-3 hours, allowing time for feeding, changing, and comforting your baby to ensure a relaxed experience.

7. Where Do Sessions Take Place?

Our newborn sessions are held in my cozy studio in Varde, providing a comfortable environment with professional lighting and props.

8. How Should We Prepare for the Session?

Ie recommend feeding your baby just before the session to promote sleepiness. Dress your baby in loose-fitting clothes to avoid marks on the skin. For family photos, neutral-toned clothing without busy patterns works best.

9. Are Props and Outfits Provided?

Yes, I offer a selection of props, blankets, and outfits. However, personal items like a cherished blanket or toy can add a meaningful touch.

10. What Measures Are Taken for Baby’s Safety?

Your baby’s safety is my top priority. I follow best practices for posing and handling, ensuring a secure and comfortable environment.

At Studio Angelie, I aim to make your newborn photography experience enjoyable and stress-free, resulting in timeless images you’ll treasure forever.
